LINDY JARVIS BREHMER
Funeral services for Lindy Jarvis Brehmer, 45 year old resident of Olalla, Washington and formerly of Buffalo, will be held Tuesday September 28th at 10:00 a.m. from the Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joe Jarvis officiating. Visitation will be held from the funeral home chapel on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Willow Grove Cemetery with graveside services to follow the funeral. Donations in Lindy’s memory may be made to the Lindy Brehmer memorial to help defray final expenses.
Melinda Fay Brehmer was born on October 4, 1964 in Buffalo to Joe and Donna Jarvis. She grew up and went to school in Buffalo and graduated from Buffalo High School with the class of 1983 where she was active in band, art and in the choir. After high school she attended Bartlesville Wesleyan College in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. After her college she moved to Casper where she worked at the King’s Table. She was married on March 20, 1986 in Casper to Allen Brehmer and they made their home in Casper. Allen joined the Navy and they lived at various naval bases in the United States. They moved to Bremerton, Washington in 2003 where they had lived until the time of her death.
Lindy loved gardening, her pets, feeding her humming birds and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband Allen of Olalla, Washington; one son Caleb Brehmer of Olalla, Washington; one daughter Trista Johnson and her husband Rodney of Wheaton, Maryland; two grand daughters Tasia and Ariana Johnson both living in Wheaton; her parents, Joe and Donna Jarvis of Buffalo; one brother Brian Jarvis and his wife Kelli of Buffalo; two nephews, Kyle and Trevor Jarvis both of Buffalo and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
