Ken Elton DeWitt, 39, of Sheridan passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at his residence.
Ken was born on August 21, 1973 in Casper, WY to parents John Elton and Barbara Ann (Patterson) DeWitt. He married Darnell Renee Salmon in 1997.
Ken was a member of the Wyoming National Guard and worked for the Wyoming Highway Department. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, shooting, reloading, four-wheeling and spending time with his family.
Ken was preceded in death by his five year old daughter, Isabella DeWitt Iverson, his mom, Barbara, his grandparents and a great uncle, Early Hardin (Babs). His is survived by his wife, Darnell, his children; Steven and Samantha, his father John (Wanda) DeWitt of Sheridan, WY, his brothers; Raymond DeWitt of Torrington, WY, and Chad (Shay) DeWitt, of Spokane, WA and a niece, Madisyn DeWitt of Spokane, WA.
Services for Ken will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, October 12, 2012 at Kane Funeral Home with Reverend Kevin Jones officiating. A reception will follow in the Kane Reception Room.
Memorials to honor Ken may be made to the Ken E. DeWitt Children's Fund in care of the Bank of Sheridan, 1375 Sugarland Dr., Sheridan, WY 82801.
