Funeral Services for Joyce A. Adami 68 year old Billings woman who passed away Saturday in Billings, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 2nd at the First United Methodist Church at 2800 Fourth Avenue N. in Billings with Pastor Tim Hathoway officiating. Graveside services will be held in Willow Grove Cemetery in Buffalo on Saturday August 3rd at 3:00 p.m. Donations may be made in Joyce’s memory to the Frontier Cancer Center or Walk to Emmaus in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo, Wyoming 82834
Joyce A. Adami was born on July 29, 1944 in Casper, Wyoming to Elmer and Louise (Wight) Maki. She grew up and went to school in Casper, Wyoming and graduated from Natrona County High School. Following high school she attended Casper College. She was married on June 1st, 1963 to Marvin D. Adami and after several moves the couple settled in Billings, Montana where they were blessed with two daughters. In 1986, Joyce went to paralegal school in Philadelphia and continued working at Moulton Bellingham law offices until she retired in 2011.
Joyce was active in the Methodist church and Walk to Emmaus where she served in many capacities. Her favorite activities included softball, golf and traveling.
She is survived by her mother Louise; daughters Nicole (John) Martin and Mandi (Andrew) West (grandchildren Abigail, Levi, Isabella, and Jonah); brother-in-law Patt Lynch; sisters-in-law Geraldine Campbell and Bee Adami; numerous nieces and nephews; and her faithful companion, Rudy. Preceding her in death were her husband Marv; her father; sister Karen Lynch; brothers-in law Melvin Adami, Lee Adami and Lee Campbell; sister-in-law Doris Jones and husband Charles; and nephew-in-law Don Campbell.
The family is especially grateful for the compassionate care given Joyce by Drs. Eric Dringman and Patrick Cobb and the staff at Frontier Cancer Center.
