John Norwash, 86, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2012, at his home in Sheridan.
John was born in Decker, Montana to Benedict and Katherine (Martin) Norwash.
John grew up on the family ranch on Spring Creek. He worked in the oil fields in the 1940s, before spending the last 60 years as an auto mechanic.
John was an avid musician who loved to play his keyboard and accordion. He especially enjoyed performing for the local senior facilities or any audience. He loved spending time with his friends and family. He also enjoyed reading, traveling and his pets.
John was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Tony Bury his three sisters; Annie Norwash, Mary Calhoun, and Rose Warren, his wife, Loretta (Ekis) Norwash and his son Steven Norwash. He is survived by his son, Jay Norwash, daughter, Shirley Norwash, nephew, Bruce Houston and his dear friend, Mary Chavez.
John will always be remembered as a loving father and friend

Services for John will be held at 2:00 on Friday, November 30, 2012 at Kane Funeral Home.
