Funeral services for Jane Davis, 84 year old Buffalo woman who passed away Sunday evening at the Amie Holt Care Center, will be held at a later date. Friends may donate in Jane’s memory to the Buffalo Lifeline, Buffalo Habitat for Humanity, or an animal shelter of their choice in care of the Adams Funeral Home, 351 North Adams Ave., Buffalo, WY 82834.

Janette Irene Davis was born April 20, 1928 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Wayland and Myrtle Crisp. She grew up in Albuquerque where she received her education, graduating from St. Vincent High School in 1946. After high school she was married to Ralph Moyer in 1946 and they made their home in Albuquerque. Later Jane and Ralph divorced and in 1956 she married Ralph Burgess and they also lived in Albuquerque before getting a divorce in 1966. Jane continued to live in Albuquerque where she worked as a data processor. In 1972 she married Henry Davis in Albuquerque where they lived before moving to Harvard, Illinois where she was a homemaker. After Henry’s death in 1982 Jane moved to Medford, Oregon to live near her daughter where she became involved in family services. In 1994 she moved to Mobile, Alabama and then in 1997 she moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming where she lived for six years. While in Cheyenne, Jane worked with the Retired Senior Program and the Cheyenne Art Guild. She was also the night manager for the Holy Trinity Church. Throughout her life Jane had numerous jobs of many different types. In 2003 Jane moved to Buffalo, Wyoming where she lived until the time of her death.

Jane loved life, enjoyed people, and was a very accomplished artist and very creative in all facets of life. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved her family very much.

She is survived by her daughter; Frances Moyer Williams and her husband Max of Colorado Springs, Colorado; one son, Ralph Moyer and his wife Valerie of Franklin, West Virginia; and her daughter, Lorraine Gavin and her husband John of Buffalo, Wyoming; six grand children and 2 great grand children. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, and one son Richard Wayland Moyer.
