Fauneil P. Harrison, 92, of Sheridan passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2012, at Westview Health Care Center. She was born on May 21,1920, at home near Elsie, Nebraska, to parents Charles Franklin and Hazel Bessie (Terry) Powell. She married George William Harrison on February 14, 1941, after a brief courtship before he had to ship off overseas to the war.

Sylvia “Arlene” Childress Kluz, 76, of Sheridan passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Arlene was born on January 25, 1936 to Ruth ( ) and Earl Childress in Sheridan, WY. She graduated from Sheridan High School. She married Tony Kluz on October 10, 1959 and had two sons; Tony Kluz Jr. and John Kluz.

Penny Kay Cooper, 65, of Sheridan passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at Sheridan Memorial Hospital on Saturday, November 24, 2012.

John Norwash, 86, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2012, at his home in Sheridan.

John was born in Decker, Montana to Benedict and Katherine (Martin) Norwash.

John grew up on the family ranch on Spring Creek. He worked in the oil fields in the 1940s, before spending the last 60 years as an auto mechanic.

G. Michael Ramey, 65, of Buffalo passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Visitation for Mike will be from 6pm to 8pm on Monday, November 26, 2012 at Kane Funeral Home in Sheridan, WY.

There will also be a visitation from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at the Wesleyan Church, 980 N. Main Street in Buffalo, WY.

Robert Lee Ferril III, had a life-long respect for hard work, a boundless curiosity about the world and everything in it, and a quiet understanding of how things really got done. His own brand of dignified reserve will long be remembered, as will his appreciation of good humor and his enduring sense of fair play.

James E. Bassett, 71, of Sheridan passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 14, 2012 at Sheridan Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.

Jerry Allen Cox, 59, of Gillette passed away on Monday, November 19, 2012 at the VA Medical Center.

Jacob P. Kurth, 88, of Sheridan, WY died Thursday, November 15, 2012, in the V.A. Medical Center, Sheridan.

Funeral services for Don Whipple, 78 year old long time Buffalo resident who passed away early Friday morning at the Johnson County Health Care Center surrounded by his family, will be held Tuesday, November 20, at 2:00 p.m. from the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Buffalo with Father Doug Wassinger officiating. Visitation will be held from the Adams Funeral Home Chapel on Monday from 1:00 p.m.

Eugene W. Baker, 87, of Sheridan passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Sheridan Manor.

Carl A. Geertz, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend passed away on Friday, November 9, 2012. He will be remembered for his gentle, giving heart and determination for life.

Carl A. Geertz was born in Cohagen, Montana on May 29, 1926 on a small homestead. He was the fourth child born to John and Bertha Geertz.

Lillian Beers Pysher, 92, of Sheridan passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Lillian was born on January 14, 1912 in Nazareth, PA to parents Victor and Hortense (Klinger) Beers. She married Clayton E. Pysher on October 14, 1939 in Martins Creek, PA. She later settled in Sheridan, WY.

A celebration of the life of Vivian Campbell, resident of Ancaster, Onterio Canada, will be held will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, in Ancaster, on Friday, Nov. 9 at 11 am, reception to follow.
