Joan (Welsh) Martini, 69, of Sheridan, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2015, at her residence. She was born on July 21, 1946 in Ogden, UT to Bruce and Pauline (Ridenour) Welsh. Joan is survived by her husband Dennis Martini; her brother Jeff Welsh; and her step daughter Peg (Calkins) Martin. Joan retired from Kmart after 30 years of service.

Margaret R. Eversull, 88, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 7, 2015. She was born on October 18, 1926, in Chadron, NE. She was raised on a farm west of Marsland, NE.

Strong, Caring, Compassionate, Loving, Exuberant and a Real Fighter are a few of the words used to describe Eman Salamat Khan. Daughter, Wife, Sister, Mother, Aunt, Niece, Cousin, and Friend are just a few more. Eman was born with a congenital heart condition and the need for many surgeries including a future transplant.

Long time former Sheridan resident passed away in Minneapolis on Oct. 1st, 2013. No obituary was written at the time. Eunice was born on December 30th, 1934, at home in Sheridan to parents Albert J. Nejedly and Flossie E. (Berry) Nejedly.

She attended Brundage and Coffeen schools and Big Horn and Sheridan High Schools, graduating in 1952. She also attended Sheridan College.

Fred Theodore Fisher, 73, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at his residence. He was born on November 17, 1941, in Harrisburg, IL, to parents Gordon Theodore and Dora (Black) Fisher. Gordon worked for Standard Oil as a dock foreman, and Dora was a homemaker and a prolific crafter. The family moved to Casper when Fred was a toddler, and he attended Casper schools.

James Edward Goodwin, 85, of Sheridan, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at the Billings Clinic Hospital.

Graveside services for Patrick Reardon, 54 year old Casper, Wyoming resident, who passed away Tuesday, August 4th, will be held Friday, August 7th at 10:00 a.m. in the Willow Grove Cemetery in Buffalo, Wyoming with Pastor Ted Ridenour officiating. Graveside funeral services for Joe Sorell, 82 year old Yuma, Arizona and former Douglas, Wyoming resident, who passed away suddenly Saturday afternoon while camping in the Big Horn Mountains, will be held Wednesday, August 5th at 11:00 a.m. in the Douglas Park Cemetery in Douglas, Wyoming with Father Bill Hill officiating.

Pauline Janelle (Jan) Durcholz of Sheridan, WY, formerly of Rochelle, IL, passed away at home Friday, July 31, 2015 after a valiant fight with cancer. She was born September 20, 1956.
On September 17, 2004, Jan married the love of her life, Scott Durcholz in their home in Sheridan, WY.

Funeral services for L.D. “Jackson” Hilstad, 66 year old Buffalo man who passed away suddenly Friday morning at his home in Buffalo, Wyoming will be held Wednesday August 5, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church in Circle, Montana with Pastor Wade Brinkopf officiating. Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery in Circle, Montana with graveside services to follow the funeral.

Robert Edgar Cole, 90, of Story, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2015, at his residence. Services will be held at Kane Funeral Home, 689 Meridian Street, Sheridan, WY, on Saturday, August 15, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. A family inurnment will take place at a later date at the Oregon Trail Veteran’s Cemetery in Evansville, WY.

Lewis W. Currier, III, 66, of Sheridan, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2015, at the St. Vincent Hospital in Billings. He was born on July 7, 1949, in Delray Beach, FL, to parents Lewis W. and Kate (DeWolfe) Currier, Jr.

Lewis served as a Combat Medic in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He married Arlene Wells on June 26, 1999 in Pompano Beach, FL.
