Verda Mae (Dinius) Taylor of Sheridan, Wyoming, passed away on November 10, 2013 at the Green House Living for Sheridan. Verda was born on May 29, 1930, in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. She was the only child of the late Archie and Juanita (Osmun) Dinius.

Jerome Thomas Brown, 93, of Sheridan, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the Westview Health Care Center.

Jerry was born on March 16, 1920 in Sheridan, WY to parents Roy M. and Mary (Murphy) Brown. After school he joined the US Army, served during WWII where he earned the Bronze Star. He married Theresa Arts in Abilene, TX on June 23, 1943.

Funeral services for Nancy Backer, 74 year old Kaycee woman who passed away Tuesday, November 5th at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming will be held Saturday, November 16th at 2:00 p.m. at the Harness Funeral Home with Melissa Vandeberg officiating.

Graveside services for Carol Garland, 68 year old Buffalo woman who passed away Tuesday at the Westview Nursing Center in Sheridan, Wyoming will be held Monday, November 11th at 11:00 a.m. at Willow Grove Cemetery with Pastor William Dunlap officiating. Visitation will be held at the Harness Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Charles Vernon Holtry, 91, of Sheridan, Wyoming, died Friday, November 8, 2013 in the Sheridan V. A. Medical Center.

Mr. Holtry was born October 23, 1922 in Howe, Idaho to Bemridge and Jette Camilla (Wilde) Franklin. The family moved to Boulder City, Nevada when Vernon was around 12. He lived in Dayton, Washington, then moved to Sheridan, Wyoming.

John Shaffer, 60, of Sheridan, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at his residence.

Services for Verda Mae will be at 10:00 am Saturday, November 16, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church with Reverend Don Derryberrry officiating. Interment will be in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. A reception will follow at the church.

Marjorie W. Darrington, age 84, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Westview Health
Care Center in Sheridan, Wyoming.

Marge was born Marjorie Willeen Morrow on August 21, 1929 in Prairie Grove,
Arkansas, to Archie and Ada Morrow. Marge studied to be a nurse in college, and for 14
years worked as an LPN at the United States Air Force Academy Hospital in Colorado
Springs, CO.

Leon Clyde Pruett, 75, of Basin, WY passed away on Friday, November 1, 2013 at the VA Medical Center.
