Mass of Christian Burial for Jean Ellen Michelena, 78 year old Buffalo resident who passed away quietly Wednesday morning at the Johnson County Health Care Center in Buffalo, surrounded by her family, will be celebrated Saturday, August 13th at 10:00 a.m. from the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Buffalo with Father Peter Johnson as celebrant.

Virginia “Ginny” Lee Price, 80, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at her residence. She was born on June 25, 1936, in Wichita, KS, to parents Hadley John Paul and Dora (Eickhoff) Steffens. Ginny married Dean Price in Independence, KS, on December 21, 1957.

Mark Allen, 65, passed away on July 29th, 2016 at his home in Bozeman, MT after a two-year battle with cancer. Mark was born in Murray, KY on May 26, 1951 to Thomas and Patricia Allen. He grew up in Sheridan, WY, and even when circumstances took him elsewhere, he always considered it home.

Leif Erik Blomquist was born January 9, 1997, at Sheridan Memorial Hospital, Sheridan, WY. He went to his heavenly home on August 9, 2016, at the age of 19 years, 7 months, after a lifetime of illness.

Gary Lynn Pudge, 49 of College Station, TX passed away at his home on July 24, 2016.
Gary was born on December 17, 1966 in Casper, WY to Jim Pudge and Jan Pudge. Gary worked at Intermountain Labs, in Sheridan until his transfer to College Station in 1989, where he was later the branch manager. Gary then became branch manager for the College Station Energy Lab.

Carrie Nanette Olson, 61, departed this earth on July 25, 2016, at St. Vincent Hospital in Billings, MT, of a rare Neurological disorder. Carrie was born in Port Hueneme, CA, July 11, 1955, to parents Ruth (Gunn) and Benjamin Chastain. She grew up in Sheridan with her grandparents, then in Japan.

Ralph L. Miller, Jr., 71, of Sheridan, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2016, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Laurel Ann “Laurie” Hills passed peacefully into God's arms on Sunday, July 24th at Sheridan Manor where she had resided the past three years after a long journey through Alzheimer’s disease. She was surrounded by people she had loved and who loved her.

Elmer L. Schaffer Jr., 78, of Sheridan, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Westview Health Care Center. He was born November 21, 1937 in Ritzville, WA to Elmer F. and Mary (Weitzel) Schaffer. He attended schools in Sheridan and after high school he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He served in North Africa and other overseas stations from 1954 to 1958.

Funeral services for Sharon Bishop, 74 year old Buffalo woman who passed away suddenly Friday afternoon at the Billings Clinic in Billings, Montana, will be held Thursday, August 11, at 10:00 a.m. at Summit Wesleyan Church in Buffalo with Pastor Steven Martin officiating. Visitation will be held from the Harness Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Franklin “Frank” Monroe Shaffer, Sr. passed away Saturday August 6, 2016 at Mountain View Living Center at the Sheridan VAMC.

He was born June 24, 1922 to Clarence and Nellie (Bennick) Shaffer, in Sheridan. Frank was a graduate of Sheridan High School. In 1938 and 1940 he was selected as first-string quarter back for the Wyoming High School All State football team.
