Ardis Leach, 58, of Sheridan, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at her residence with her husband by her side. She was born in Sidney, MT, on January 4, 1957, to parents Howard and Helen (Schwartzenberger) Norgard.

Margaret “Peggy” Kepford, 100, of Sheridan passed away Monday, March 23, 2015 at Westview Health Care Center. She was born November 5, 1914 in Buffalo, WY to Thomas and Joanna Corpe.
Peggy enjoyed reading, word search puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and watching Gunsmoke.

Freda Douglas Thomas was born in Meadow, SD on November 4, 1916 to Jess and Cleta Whitford. She passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Sheridan Manor.
She married Gale Douglas on February 8, 1939. They had three children: James, Beverly and Larry. In 1993, Freda married Roy Thomas.

Harvey Finch, 91, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at the Sheridan Manor.

A Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2015, at Kane Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at Kane Funeral Home with Pastor John Craft officiating. Interment will be in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery with Military Honors.

Funeral services for Ruby Ruby Corell, 82 year old lifetime Buffalo resident who passed away Monday at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo will be held Saturday, March 28th at 2:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall in Buffalo with Reverend Tom Saur officiating. A private family interment will be held in Willow Grove Cemetery.

Jack D. Landon, Sr., 89, of Sheridan, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2015, at the Sheridan Manor.

Joseph Pulitzer IV, the last of a line of Joseph Pulitzers stretching back to the 19th century to hold positions at the family’s St. Louis Post-Dispatch, died Thursday in Berkeley, Calif., following a massive heart attack. He was 65 and lived in Sheridan, Wyo.

Funeral services for Mary O’Neill, 71 year old Buffalo woman who passed away Friday at her home in Buffalo will be held Friday, March 20th at 2:00 p.m. from the Harness Funeral Home with Reverend Tom Saur officiating. Interment will be announced at a later date. Donations in Mary’s memory may be made to the Buffalo Senior Center or the St.

Funeral services for Allen Brooks, 70 year old Buffalo resident who passed away suddenly at his home Sunday evening, will be held Tuesday, March 24th at 2:00 p.m. from the Big Horn Baptist Church in Buffalo with Pastor William Dunlap officiating. Visitation will be held from the Harness Funeral Home Chapel on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. until noon.

Mass of Christian Burial for James Cook, 88 year old lifetime Johnson County resident who passed away on Friday, will be celebrated Friday, March 20th at 10:00 a.m. from the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Buffalo with Father Pete Johnson as celebrant. A vigil service will be held and the Rosary recited from the Harness Funeral Home on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.

Gene Lester Reimers, 77 of Sheridan Wyoming passed away at Westview Healthcare Center on Sunday, March 15, 2015 with most of the immediate family in attendance. Gene was born 10th of 11 children to Philemon Aaron and Goldie Hilma Victoria (Kardell) Reimers at the farm in Laurel, NE, on August 14, 1937.

Harlan Giese, 83, of Sheridan WY, passed away on Wednesday, March 11th, 2015 at Sheridan Manor in Sheridan, WY. Harlan was born on April 21st, 1931 in Zap, ND to parents William and Mary (Coutz) Giese. Harlan was a exceptional baseball pitcher in his youth playing for a variety of teams in North Dakota. He later moved to Bismarck where we worked as a Land Purchaser for MDU over 42 years.
