Funeral services for Greg Wuttke, 42 year old Sheridan man who peacefully entered eternity while in the home of his parents, Wednesday afternoon in Buffalo, will be held Saturday December 3rd at 10:00 a.m. from the Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Alan Schaberg officiating. Donations may be made in Greg’s memory to the Susie Bowling Lawrence Hospice, Wystar in Sheridan or the Teen Challenge of The Dakotas in care of the Adams Funeral Home. A private family interment will follow the funeral.
Gregory James Wuttke was born on December 10, 1968 in Viroqua, Wisconsin to James and Jean Wuttke. He received his early education in Milton, Wisconsin, and graduated from Milton High School in 1987. After high school he settled in the Madison , Wisconsin area for many years where he worked primarily in food service and restaurant management for various franchises. He moved to Indiana in 2004 where he studied to acquire his Safe Food Certification which was instrumental in landing him a job in Sheridan, Wyoming in 2009. Greg assisted and encouraged many young people in the WYSTAR rehab program to obtain food service jobs and re-enter the work force.
Greg was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and closely followed the team’s illustrious history for decades. His final days fraught with pain and debilitation were eased by the tender and loving care of His family and the wonderful Hospice nurses and aides who served under the capable direction and supervision of Dr. Ryan Ludwig.
Greg is survived by his parents, Jim and Jean Wuttke of Buffalo; one brother Nathan Wuttke of Dubois; two nephews, Austin Wuttke of Soda Springs, Idaho and Alex Wuttke of Rigby, Idaho. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, most of whom are living in Wisconsin, and a great host of friends.
