Funeral services for Gladys Madron, 82 year old Buffalo resident who passed away early Monday morning at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo will be held Saturday, October 13th at 2:00 p.m. from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with Neil Livingston officiating. Private family interment will follow the services. Donations in Mrs. Madron’s memory may be made to the Gladys Madron expense fund in care of the Adams Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo.
Gladys Darlene Madron was born on December 14, 1929 in Greeley, Colorado to Jacob and Katheryn Koch. She moved to the Ranchester , Wyoming area as a young child and attended the Coy Country School. She was married on January 7th, 1951 in Ranchester to Denzil Madron and they made their home in Sheridan where Gladys was a homemaker and Mr. Madron was a diesel mechanic. Mr. Madron passed away in September of 1999 and Gladys continued living in Sheridan until 2000 when she moved to Camarillo, California to live with her daughter. She moved to Buffalo in 2004 with her family where she lived in the Buffalo apartments. In July of 2012 she became a resident of the Amie Holt Care Center where she lived until the time of her death.
Gladys was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and loved being with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Ron Madron of Arizona, and Randy Madron of Gillette; three daughters Pat Bauer and her husband Garth of Buffalo, Cindy Barnhart and her husband Gene of Gillette and Wanda Whiting of Pocatello, Idaho; four sisters, Helen Showers of Sheridan, Wyoming, Florence Weibel of Worland, Wyoming, Adeline Clark of Moab, Utah and Elfreida Williams of California and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, four sisters and two brothers
