Wilbur Cecil Ransbottom, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 17th, 2016. Wilbur, age 88, had been a long time resident of Three Rivers, Michigan before becoming a resident of Sheridan, Wyoming in 2009. Born February 26, 1928, Wilbur was the only child of Ethel Mary (Nichols) and Cecil Sherman Ransbottom.

V. Jean (Pointer) Robinson, 87, passed away November 13, 2016 at Sheridan Manor. Jean was
born February 2, 1929 in Sheridan, Wyoming to Willis and Violet Pointer. She grew up and
attended schools in Sheridan, graduating from Sheridan High School in 1947.
Jean married Elton H. Robinson in Sheridan on May 6, 1950. They resided their whole lives in

Barry Johnson, 66, of Buffalo, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at the Sheridan Manor.

Dr. Rodney S. Bisbee, 74, died Monday, November 14, 2016 in Sheridan.
Dr. Bisbee was born May 27, 1942 in Sheridan. He was the second of three children born to Rollin and Eunice Bisbee. Rodney practiced Chiropractic in Sheridan for 38 years before retiring in December 2005.
Rodney married Myrla Rae Hexem on June 20, 1964. Myrla died on June 3, 2002. He married Susan Wilson on May 12, 2006.

Margie Loretta Weaver, 88, of Sheridan passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Margie was born on December 28, 1927, to Ernest and Loretta (Pratt) Lange in Chicago, IL.
She married Alvin C. “Jack” Weaver on February 17, 1949 in Maryland. They were married for sixty years.

Richard Lee Benbo, 48, passed away on November 12, 2016, due to a long term illness.

Virginia “Ginger” L. Nelson, of Sheridan, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was 66 years, 20 days old. She was born to parents Leon and Reva (Kraus) Nichols on October 21, 1950, in Cedar Rapids, NE. They moved to Cozad where Ginger later graduated from High School in 1968.

Richard White, 71, of Sheridan, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at the Sheridan Memorial Hosptial.

Walter DeWayne Corbin, 61, of Sheridan, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2016, at his residence.
Services with Military Honors will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 18, 2016, at Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery in Casper, WY.

Norma M. Goodman, 87, of Sheridan, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2016, at the Westview Health Care Center. She was born on February 15, 1929, in Lost Springs, WY, to parents Arthur Carl and Schrelda (Pennington) Meinzer.

Judy Olson, director of COPE, “Counseling in Overcoming Painful Emotions”, will be starting a nine week program sponsored by Kane Funeral Home. COPE is an aftercare program designed to help deal with overcoming the loss of a loved one and gain support from others in the community experiencing the same type of grief.

Robert E. Hogarth, Jr., 86, of Sheridan, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at the Sheridan Manor.

Funeral services for Georgie Sicking, 95 year old Kaycee resident who passed away Sunday afternoon at the Johnson County Memorial Hospital in Buffalo, will be celebrated on Saturday, November 19, 2016, at 1:00 p.m., at The Gardens Funeral Home in Fallon, Nevada with Jerry Harper officiating. Graveside services will follow at Churchill County Cemetery.

Mass of Christian Burial for David Larkin, 86 year old Buffalo resident who passed away quietly Sunday morning at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo, will be celebrated on Friday, November 11th at 10 a.m. at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Buffalo with Father Pete Johnson as celebrant. A Vigil Service will be held and the Rosary recited on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at the St.

Maribeth Harrison Rose, 95, of Sheridan, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at the St. Vincent's Hospital in Billings, MT. She was born on September 10, 1921, in Omaha, NE, to parents William Henry and Mary Elizabeth (Newton) Harrison.
