Suzanne Laya, 84, of Sheridan, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2016, at Westview Health Care Center. She was born on December 24, 1931, in Sheridan to Francis Charles III and Catherine (Davis) Williams. Sue graduated from Sheridan High School in 1949 and attended college in Albuquerque, New Mexico, before transferring to the University of Wyoming.

Vincent Eugene “Gene” McNair, 92, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at the Westview Health Care Center. He was born on September 30, 1923, in Sheridan to parents Clyde and Ethel (Richards) McNair, being their sixth of eight children born to them. He graduated from Sheridan High School in June of 1941. He married his wife Ruby in April of 1964.

Frances K. Ruzicka, 89, of Sheridan, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital. She was born to parents, Gasper and Anna (Kozuh) Krek on July 30, 1926, in Rock Springs, WY, and was raised in Reliance, WY.

Mass of Christian Burial for Jean Gandy, 88 year old Buffalo resident who passed away Sunday evening at the Poplar Living Center in Casper, will be celebrated Saturday, January 16th at 10:00 a.m. from the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Buffalo with Father Pete Johnson as celebrant. Visitation will be held from the Harness Funeral Home Chapel on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Erica Leigh (Hanson) O'Dell, 44, of Sheridan, WY, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at Westview. She was born on August 13, 1971, in Fargo, ND to Lindell (Bernier) and Peter Hanson. She was raised in Moorhead, MN.

Routon “Jack” Siler, 89, of Sheridan, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, January 6, 2016.

Arnold Jacobson, 98, of Sheridan, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at his residence. He was born on November 4, 1917, in Kenmare, ND, to parents Jacob Peter and Carrie (Thompson) Jacobson. In 1933, he joined the Civilian Conservation Corp in California. During WWII, Arnold served in the Army Air Corp.

Judy G. Dregoiw, 72, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at the Westview Saddle Ridge. Services are pending at this time.

Anna Marie Legerski, age 50, of Sheridan, passed away peacefully at the Billings Clinic on January 5, 2016, due to complications from Lupus.
She was born on December 30, 1965, in Sheridan. Anna grew up and attended school in both Sheridan and Gillette.

Funeral services for Nora Cellers, 82 year old Bozeman resident and former Buffalo woman, who passed away last Saturday in Bozeman will be held Saturday, January 9th at 10:00 a.m. from the Harness Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo with Pastor Steven Martin officiating. Mass of Christian Burial for Claire Hollcroft, 91 year old Buffalo resident who passed away early Wednesday morning at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo will be celebrated Saturday, January 2nd at 10:00 a.m. from the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Buffalo with Father Pete Johnson as Celebrant. Visitation will be held from the Harness Funeral Home Chapel on Friday from 10:00 a.m.

Cherrill M. Whitlow, 79, of Sheridan, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Memorials to honor Cherrill may be made to the Sheridan County Fulmer Pubic Library at 335 W. Alger, Sheridan, WY 82801.

Services will be held at 2:00 on Sunday, January 3, 2016, at the Cornerstone Church. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in New Mexico.

Catherine Jean McDougall, 73, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at the Westview Health Care Center. She was born on August, 18, 1942, in Noonan, ND, to parents William and Cora (Pederson) Thompson. At the age of 16, she married Walter Quay McDougall in 1958, and was married for 57 years.

Duane Foss, 87 year old Buffalo resident and one of Johnson County’s most respected ranchers, passed away at his home in Buffalo on December 26th. Private Family Graveside Services for Duane will be held at the Willow Grove Cemetery on Saturday, January 2nd at 2:00 P.M. with the VFW in charge of Military graveside service.

Travis Elaine Gunderson, 78, of Buffalo, left this earth peacefully on Friday, December 25, 2015, at the Johnson County Memorial Hospital. She was born on July 1, 1937, in Rugby, ND, to parents Elmer and Nell (Hanson) Britsch. She married Roy Alton Gunderson in 1956.

Family Inurnment will be held in Towner, ND.
