Irwin M. Brandjord, 83, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at the Green House Living of Sheridan.

Services will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, July 18, 2015, at the Christ Episcopal Church, 45 W. Cedar St., Glenrock, WY, with Military Honors.

John Edward McWilliams, 91, died at his home on Big Goose where July 6, 2015. He'd lived for well over 80 years. He was born in Sheridan on April 8th, 1924 to Henry and Julia McWilliams. His father, Henry, was born in Buffalo to one of the earliest families settling in the area.

Shaun Beasley, 44, passed into the hands of the Lord on Wednesday July 8, 2015, at Sheridan Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family following a stroke. Shaun was born on March 30, 1971, in Salem, OR, the first daughter of John and Susan Beasley. She was a special child who touched hearts with her spirit and drive, always gaining respect by those who knew her.

Katherine Barbara “Kay” Fradet, 100, of Sheridan passed away peacefully at her home on July 6, 2015, surrounded by those who loved her. On May 7, this year, Kay celebrated her 100th birthday with a well attended open house celebration at her home. She was so happy and had such a wonderful day!

Mary Elizabeth Rhodes was born in Casper, Wyoming on September 11, 1923 to Elizabeth Harte Doherty and James J. Doherty, Irish immigrants, and passed away on July 6, 2015. She graduated from Natrona County High School then attended the University of Wyoming, Washington University in St. Louis and Sheridan College. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She was the eldest of five siblings.

On the day after he celebrated the independence of this country; a country that he fought so valiantly for during two wars, Leslie “Les” Calvin Hofto, 88, of Sheridan was called away to his next assignment in Heaven. It seems so fitting that this patriotic naval officer would get to live through one more Independence Day.

A memorial service for Jeannette (Lily) Daniels will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 26th at Dayton Community Church, 210 Bridge Street, Dayton, Wyoming. Friends and Family are invited.

Mass of Christian burial for Doris Anderson, 83 year old long time Midwest and former Buffalo resident who passed away Tuesday in Chandler, Arizona, will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 14 at 10:00 a.m. from The Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church in Buffalo with Father Pete Johnson as Celebrant. A vigil service will be held and the Rosary recited on Monday at 6:00 p.m. also from the Church.

Mass of Christian Burial for Michael Lanker, 69 year old Buffalo resident who passed away suddenly at his home south of Buffalo Wednesday afternoon, will be celebrated Thursday, July 9th at 10:00 a.m. at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Buffalo with Father Pete Johnson as celebrant. A Vigil service will be held on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. also from the Catholic Church.

Funeral Services for Lynn Gilbert, 60 year old Buffalo resident who passed away quietly at the Johnson County Health Care Center on Wednesday evening, will be held Thursday, July 9th at 2:00 p.m. from the Big Horn Baptist Church in Buffalo with Pastors Clay Alexander and Eric Ebbinghaus officiating. Interment will be in Willow Grove Cemetery with graveside service to follow the funeral.

Myrtle E. Elkins Kent, 95, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at her residence.

Jim Niner still had plenty of irons in the fire this spring when interrupted by pancreatic cancer. He passed away June 26 under hospice and family care at home.

Jennifer Sue Pilch Herbst, 56, of Sheridan, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 19, 2015, at St. Vincents Hospital in Billings, MT, from an unexpected brain aneurysm.

Samuel S. Street has passed away. He is survived by his wife Connie and daughters Karen of Australia and Vicki of New York City. Mr. Street, a well known artist in Sheridan, Wyoming will be remembered as " The Painter of Main Street" for his colorful paintings of downtown Sheridan.
