Elba Lea ("Lee") White, 86, of Sheridan died on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Sheridan Manor.
Lee was born on January 8, 1926, in Henryetta, Oklahoma. He married Betty Johnston of Rock Springs, Wyoming, in 1944, and they had two sons.
Lee worked as a machinist for FMC Corporation outside Green River, Wyoming, as well as a bus driver for Zanetti Bus Lines of Rock Springs for many years and retired in 1985. He and his wife then moved to Medical Lake, Washington. Lee remained there after his wife's death until 2009 when he moved to Sheridan to be with his son, Don, and his family.
Lee was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters; his wife; his older son, Jim; and his grandson, Zach. He is survived by his son, Don, and his wife, Paula, of Sheridan; two grandsons, Patrick of Pocatello, Idaho, Benjamin of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and his daughter-in-law, Bonnie; grandson, Jason; and and great-grand-daughter, Jamie Lea; all of Philadelphia.
Cremation has taken place and an interment of his remains alongside his wife will take place later this summer at Riverside Memorial Park in Spokane, Washington.
