Private graveside services for Donald Hale, 82 year old Buffalo man who passed away early Monday morning at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming will be held Wednesday, September 15, at 2:00 p.m. from the Willow Grove Cemetery in Buffalo, Wyoming with Pastor Tom Saur officiating. Friends may donate in Don’s memory to the St. Francis Animal Shelter in care of the Adams Funeral Home, 351 North Adams Avenue, Buffalo, Wyoming 82834.
Donald Rae Hale was born on November 26, 1927 in Greeley, Colorado to William and Nora Hale. He attended schools in Gering, Nebraska. After high school he joined the Navy where he served in WW II. Don lived in Buffalo from 1992 until the time of his death.
Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, and anything to do with the great outdoors. He loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Jean, one son Donald Hale (Lori) Wheatland, Wyoming, three daughters; Christine Terpstra (Keith) Alamosa, Colorado, Patricia Johnson (Craig) Rapid City, South Dakota, and Sandra Kimbrell, Boiling Springs, South Carolina; one brother Tom Hale (Marie) Downey, California; one sister, Daisy Gorduyn (Mel) Bosque Farms, New Mexico; eight grandchildren and one great grand child. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, two sisters, one son-in-law and one grandchild.
