Dearcy Wyett, 81, of Sheridan, Wyoming passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Sheridan Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Dearcy Gardner Paul was born February 27, 1929, in Glasgow, Scotland. She was the daughter of William H. and Jean (Kennedy) Paul. She married Eric Wyett November 12, 1946, in Loughborough, England. The family remained in England until June 1950 when Dearcy and Eric and their two eldest daughters immigrated to America. Upon their arrival in America, the family lived in Big Horn before moving to Sheridan where they made their home. Dearcy worked at the Sheridan Coil Factory and the Sheridan Center. She was a member of the Eastern Star.
Dearcy was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Survivors include daughters, Linda Wyett of Sheridan, WY, Brenda Wright of Ontario, Canada and Carolanne Carpenter of Aroboles, Colorado; son Michael D. Wyett of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sisters Nina Darling of Ontario, Canada, and Drucilla Marshall of West Sussex, England; brother Bryan Paul of Brighton, England; nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Kane Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday, March 29, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kane Funeral Home..
