Dallas Porter, 32, of Sheridan passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at his residence. He was born on August 28, 1980 in Anahiem, CA to parents Scott and Tammy McDougall. He worked as a Mechanic until the time of his death.

Dallas enjoyed riding motorcycles with his favorite riding partner his son Bryce, camping, hiking, fishing, cooking with his love Jennifer, playing jokes on people, going to Park Resevoir with family and friends, watching the Cornhuskers and Raiders football games. He played hard and loved harder. His greatest accomplishment in life was being Bryce's dad. He loved his family and friends and would give you the shirt off his back. He was passionate in love and anger but ultimately he loved. He will be missed by his true friends and family. He never put on a front he was just Dallas and never felt that people understood him. He was an amazing son, dad and brother.

Dallas is preceded in death by his grandmother, “Nanny” Jean Toller-McDonald. He is survived by his parents Tammy and Scott McDougall of Sheridan, grandparents; Cathy & Walt McDougall of Wyola, MT and Bill McDonald of Sheridan, WY, his fiance, Jennifer Russell, son, Bryce Lee Porter of Graham, TX, step children; Patrick and Hailey Russell of Sheridan. He also leaves behind siblings; Jenica (Jeff Gilstrap) Brink of Sheridan, WY, Cody Knode-Porter (Jodi Dillon), of Sheridan, WY, Tyson (Tina) McDougall of Ranchester, WY, Shannon McDougall of Buffalo, WY, Lindsey Mancia of Salt Lake City, UT, Jennie Johnson of Folly Beach, SC, Mary Johnson of Mount Pleasant, SC. His uncles; Tracy (Latonya) Porter, Shawn (Allison) Helmstadter of Lincoln, NE, Ken McDougall and Rick McDougall both from Sheridan, WY. And his nieces and nephews; Elizabeth, Stephanie, Natalie, Drake, Tony, Colby, Bailey, Kinnley, Hope, Cole and Chase.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Kane Funeral Home with Reverend Kevin Jones officiating. A Reception will be held at the Family Life Center, 118 W. 5th St., Sheridan, WY following the Service.
