U.S. Representative Cynthia Lummis along with over 50 of her colleagues submitted a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi this week calling for a budget resolution.
There have been recent reports indicating that the House of Representatives may not consider a budget resolution this year, which would be the first time since the passage of the Congressional Budget Act of 1974 that the House would fail to craft a budget.
