The Wyoming Women's Council reports the top three issues for women in Wyoming are substance abuse, child care, and domestic violence. However, employment concerns appear to establish a significant downward trend.
The Wyoming Women's Issues Survey, released Friday morning, also reports only 30 percent of women are aware the state has the highest gender wage gap in the nation. Women in Wyoming are paid, on average, 67 cents to the man's dollar.
Other issues that topped the list included discrimination, education, and transportation.
