At their last meeting Johnson County School District One announced that some of their board members were recently recognized by the Wyoming School Board Association for completing levels of training in their Leadership Development Programs.
Board Chair Rich Hall explained to the new board members what the training sessions are about.
Hall said the Johnson County School Board and each individual all value the training sessions and try to attend as many as they can throughout the year. He encouraged the new members to try to attend the training sessions as much as they can.
The board members recognized were Deb Hepp who has reached a level that not many board members in the state reach with 400 points of training, and Rich Hall and Marcy Schueler who have reached 250 points worth of training.
The Johnson County School Board was also recognized for having every member with at least 25 points of training.
Those recognized received plaques or certificates for their accomplishments.
