BRONC WRESTLERS OFF TO A GOOD START

BRONC WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers finished 5th at the Powell invitational they had six place winners overall and two champions.

Cody Delk and Braxton Cooper won individual titles, Gage Tyree and Tory Music finished 3rd, Cody Welborn was 5th and Gabe Legler was 6th.

Broncs Head coach Tyson Shatto says overall it was a pretty good start to the season.

And he says the younger Broncs did a nice job in their first varsity experience. And now they can go back to work in the wrestling room this week and work on what they learned from that first tournament.

This week the team will split with the varsity guys going to the Rapid City invite and the JV's to a tournament in Forsyth, Montana and Shatto says both tournaments will be good for all the wrestlers.

The Broncs have their first home dual on Tuesday the 18th when they host Billings Senior.

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Sheridan high school basketball teams will play Riverton at home Saturday.

The girls varsity game will tip at 2:00 followed by the boys at 3:30 both games will be broadcast live on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

BH HOOPS - The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams will play at another tournament this week both teams are 2-1 and will be in Wright Friday and Saturday.

TR HOOPS - The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles will play at Rocky Mountain high school Friday and return for home games Saturday against Riverside.

SC HOOPS - The Sheridan college basketball teams open conference play tomorrow night at Little Bighorn community college.

COWGIRL HOOPS - The Wyoming Cowgirls are 5-1 on the season they play at the University of Montana Thursday night.

COWBOY HOOPS - The Wyoming Cowboys play at Northern Illinois tonight. The Pokes are 8-0 you can hear tonight's game live on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM at 5:30.

DENVER BRONCOS - The Denver Broncos play Thursday night at Oakland you can hear it live on KWYO and 87.7 FM broadcast time is 5:30 with kickoff at 6:20.
