BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team picked up their 4th win of the season at Rock Springs 41-21.

The Broncs jumped out to a 24-7 lead but Rock Springs kept hanging around until the 4th quarter when the broncs finally put them away Head coach Don Julian.

The Broncs ran for nearly 400 yards most of that came inside.

They had an answer for every Rock Springs score in the second half including this nifty run by Nate Kane.

The Broncs are 4-1 tied for 2nd place in 4-A with Cheyenne East this week unbeaten Gillette comes to town for a big game Friday night.

We will broadcast the game for you live Friday night on 14-10 KWYO kickoff is set for 7:00.

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams came from behind to beat Glenrock 30-26. The Rams fell behind 20-3 but got rolling in the second half to stay unbeaten at 4-0.

This week the Rams host Wheatland we will have live for you Friday afternoon at 1:00 on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

EAGLES FOOTBALL - The Tongue River Eagles dropped to 0-4 with a 34-13 loss at the hands of Burns. The Eagles play at Wright Friday we will broadcast that game live as well it can be heard on 87.7 FM kickoff is at 7:00.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys nipped Idaho 40-37 in overtime to pick up their first win of the year. The Pokes are idle this week their next game will be on the road at Nevada October 6th.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos lost at home 31-26 against Houston Sunday. The Broncos will host the Oakland Raiders Sunday afternoon.

STATE GOLF - Big Horn Lady Rams golfer Taylor Nance won the girls 2-A state golf title the Lady Rams as a team finished 2nd.

The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers had a tough state tournament the Broncs finished 10th with no players making the top ten.

Hillary Lindell was the lone lady bronc competing she finished in 12th place the top finisher for the Broncs was Jack Mavrakis who tied for 20th.

REGIONAL TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams have three days to prepare for their state tournament. The event will be played in Gillette starting Thursday.

Julia Fenn took the regional number one singles title Saturday for the Broncs Reed Ritterbusch made it to the number one singles final but dropped that match and settled for 2nd place.

LADY BRONCS VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team played well but dropped two bracket play games at the Casper invitational Saturday.

They are back in action this week on the road at Gillette Thursday then a trip to Billings Saturday for the annual border war competition with the Billings schools.

LADY RAMS VOLLEYBALL - The Big Horn Lady Rams also played at the Casper invitational they went 1-1 Saturday in bracket play beating Green River and losing to Rock Springs.

LADY EAGLES VOLLEYBALL - The Tongue River Lady Eagles split their weekend games they lost 3-1 at Wright Friday and swept Sundance Saturday.

X-COUNTRY - The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country runners competed in Billings Saturday the Broncs Micheal Rottelini won his first meet for the broncs, Kyle Dietsche also made the top ten finishing 8th as a team the broncs were 3rd.

The Lady Broncs finished 4th overall Katie Rottelini was the top finisher in 22nd place. This week the Broncs and Lady Broncs will compete at a big meet in Loveland, Colorado.

SWIMMING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers beat Cheyenne South in a dual Friday this week the Lady Broncs will be at home with duals against the Casper schools Friday evening.
