Ron RichterThe Sheridan City Council considered an ordinance at their meeting Monday night pertaining to second-hand dealers. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
The current ordinances governing second-hand dealers requires any business which sells pre-owned merchandise to obtain a permit from the City and file a daily report with the chief of Police. Thrift stores, gaming stores and car dealerships fall under the category of second-hand dealers in the City. The Council approved first reading of an ordinance that essentially repeals the current ordinances governing second hand dealers in Sheridan. City Attorney Brendon Kerns says that Councilman Jacob Martin brought the idea forward to repeal the ordinances that, to his knowledge, have never been enforced.
Kerns said the repeal of the second-hand dealer ordinances will not affect or repeal any ordinances regulating pawn brokers. The ordinance must be approved two more times before it goes into effect.

Seems like the anti-government-regulation crowd should be all over this. But nope. Keep on protesting mask orders (which are really suggestions since no law enforcement department I know of is enforcing them or is willing to enforce them).

It appears they want it repealed, which is good. You’re free to wear your mask 24/7, just don’t be judgmental to those that don’t as many have medical conditions that prevent them from wearing one. You may also want to read up on the microfibers that accumulate in your lungs from wearing certain masks.
I won’t even talk about the growing pollution problem from discarded masks.
