Friday night at the Normative Services track, west of Sheridan, the annual Relay for Life fundraiser was held, raising money in the fight against cancer.
Seventeen teams participated and close to 40-thousand dollars was raised. Coordinator Nicole Marron
Simply hearing the word “cancer” generates fear for many folks, but cancer survivor, Ramona Brastrup has taken what was meant for bad and turned it into something wonderful.
The first Relay for Life was held in 1986.
