Money from Homeland Security Grants was added to the county's budget during the commission's last meeting February 21.
Fund 59 and Fund 60 appropriations were added as line items in the budget for local law enforcement/sheriff's office and for local emergency management in the county.
Commission Chair Smokey Wildeman explains further.
The Resolution authorized the added line items for $57,495.56 from Fund 59 and $14,043.49 from Fund 60.
The funds are a continuation of grants the county has received for a number of years.
