Sheridan Commission OKs Fire Mitigation Contract

A contract for fire mitigation services between Sheridan County and Chris Thomas was approved and ratified by the Sheridan County Commission at their meeting Wednesday.

Thomas will assist the county in development and execution of a fuels reduction project in the TP Ranch/Folly Ranch area, with funding coming from the Community Assistance on Adjacent Lands (CAFA) Grant through the Wyoming Forestry Division.

County Administrative Director Renee Obermueller gave more details on the agreement.

The term of the contract shall be from August 19^th, 2020 through March 31^st, 2025 and shall pay the contractor a not-to-exceed amount of $16,000 during the term.
