Buffalo Pool Closed Due to Positive COVID-19 Test

The Buffalo Outdoor Pool was closed by city officials Wednesday afternoon after they were informed that an employee of the pool had tested presumptively positive for COVID-19.

According to a release, the City of Buffalo closed the outdoor pool at approximately 12:30 p.m. On Wednesday, August 5th.

The outdoor pool will remain closed until further notice.

Public Health Officer Dr. Mark Schueler has been notified, as well as the Johnson County Public Health Office.

The Johnson County Public Health Office, in conjunction with the State of Wyoming, is directing the investigation of the issue.

The City of Buffalo is working closely with the Johnson County Public Health Office and cooperating with directives and recommendations provided by the Public Health Officer and Johnson County Public Health Office.
