Aaron PalmerGrant funding associated with the COVID-19 pandemic is being offered through the State Loan and Investments Board (SLIB), and the Johnson County Healthcare Center will be looking into applying for a share of the funding.
At their regular meeting this week, hospital board of trustees chairman Dr. Mark Schueler said the SLIB has received roughly $1 billion in funding from the federal government for corona virus relief capital improvement projects and discussed the issue further.
The board voted to apply for the grant funding and CEO Sean McCallister will look into finding a grant writer to assist them in the grant application
