TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers will play road double headers at Cody Sunday afternoon then at the Casper Oilers Tuesday.

The Troops seem to find their groove last week they’ve won five straight and Head coach Ben Phillips says they did a lot of work on hitting and that showed during the winning streak.

Any successful baseball team needs solid pitching and Phillips says they got several good outings on the road last week.

Following the road games at Cody and Casper they play three home dates starting with a double header Thursday against Cheyenne Post 6 with games at 5:00 and 7:00 they are also home next weekend against the Billings Halos and the 406 Flyers from Billings.

And Phillips says right now it feels like the delayed start to the season is over and they are on a good roll right now.

SRD – The Sheridan Recreation District kicks off summer Monday with the opening of Kendrick pool.
