Dorothy Ruzila, age 94, of Sheridan, WY died Thursday, January 22, 2009, in Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County.
Dorothy was born April 20,
1915, in Sheridan County to Andrew & Stella (Jeziorski) Kosine.
He parents were immigrants from Germany and Austria respectively.
Dorothy grew up and attended
schools in Sheridan County. On April 28, 1933, she married John
Ruzila in Sheridan. Dorothy lived in Sheridan all her life and
was a homemaker enjoying cooking, baking, daily walks, shopping, fishing
and hiking in the Big Horn Mountains. She loved playing cards
with family and friends and celebrating the Holidays.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years in 1983; two brothers Louie Kosine and John Kosine; and four sisters Martha Cichonski, Frances Louie, Helen Baccari and Mary Williamson.
Dorothy is survived by her son Harold of Sheridan; daughter Fairy Todd of Gillette, WY and several nieces and nephews.
Services are private for the family with interment in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
