Johnson County OKs USFS Amended Grant Agreement

Johnson County’s Commissioners have approved an amended grant agreement between the County Sheriff’s Office and the US Forest Service for law enforcement patrol on the Bighorn National Forest.

Johnson County Sheriff Rod Odenbach explained the agreement.

Sheriff Odenbach said although the campgrounds are closed and would remain so for the foreseeable future, deputies would still patrol the forest.

The modified grant agreement was approved for $3,000 for wages and $1,000 for equipment.
