Kindergartners Learn About the Dentist

Thursday, the dental hygiene students at Sheridan College welcomed about 380 kindergartners to the school. Dental Hygiene student Dani Sanchez of Ft. Collins, Colorado, tells us what they did.

Each year the program decorates the department in some kind of fun theme, and this year was no exception, as the little ones were transported into the land of bugs and insects. Dani, who herself donned hot pink wings and matching antennae, explains why.

The event was part of a month-long Kids Dental Health Awareness campaign, which ends next week with the “Give Kids a Smile” Day.
