College Offers CPR/First Aid Classes

Sheridan College in Johnson County will be offering CPR and First Aid Certification classes beginning Saturday at the campus on South Main Street in Buffalo.

The CPR Certification class will run from 9am until noon and the First Aid Certification class will run from 1 to 4pm.

We reported earlier this month that longtime Wyoming Game and Fish employee Warren Mischke would be retiring in early November after 36 years with the department, 18 of which were in Sheridan as the regional information specialist.

Earlier this year, The Black Tooth Brewing Company in Sheridan began canning their award winning brew. Recently, one of those brews has started showing up for purchase at several liquor stores in Sheridan as well as other establishments around the region.

Last Free Weekend for Fall Cleanup at the Landfill

City of Sheridan residents along with those in the county continue to clean up the mess that resulted from the fall snowstorm that occurred earlier this month. This weekend is the last free weekend at the city landfill for those hauling away their fallen trees or branches.
