This past weekend the talented townspeople of Buffalo put on quite a show again to help raise funds to benefit the Susie Bowling Lawrence Hospice at the Johnson County Healthcare Center.

The Sheridan Memorial Hospital Auxiliary presented donations totaling $40,000 to the hospital at its recent, annual meeting in Sheridan. With these funds, the Auxiliary's donations to the hospital amount to more than $413,000 over the years.

BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) - Prosecutors say a 14-year-old boy accused of bringing two handguns to a Montana high school told authorities he wanted to show people "you don't need an assault rifle to shoot up a school."

Bill Would Allow Schools to Try Year-Round Class

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - The state House of Representatives has given initial approval to a bill that would encourage school districts to try out year-round class schedules to see if shorter vacations improve learning.
