The Cat and Dog Shelter's annual Rabies vaccination event is in full swing this week at the Kendrick Park band shell. Cats and dogs have trickled in for low-cost rabies vaccines since Tuesday, and volunteers and veterinarians will be on hand from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
A permit to allow Croell Redi-Mix, Inc. to operate a gravel mine at a 320-acre site they call the “Shell Creek Pit,” has had objections filed against it with the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ).
