The Northern Wyoming Community College District Board of Trustees received an update on the budget at their meeting Thursday night. Sheridan College President Dr. Paul Young advised the Board that the budget will not include any salary increases for faculty and staff.

The Sheridan County Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing Wednesday night on proposed amendments to the County's building standards resolution. In April of this year, the County Commissioners instructed staff to draft a resolution amending the building standards and to hold a series of public meetings to receive input on those amendments.

In a media release issued by the Wyoming Department of Criminal Investigation, members of the Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office and the Northeast Enforcement Team arrested 46-year-old Sheridan resident Troy Houston, for two counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance/ Methamphetamine and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
