The Public Transit Initiative of Sheridan County contracted with LSC Transportation Consultants to complete a transit needs assessment and transit service plan for Sheridan County. The results of that study were presented Thursday night at the Sheridan Senior Center. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter was there and has the story.
Memorial lights for the Trees of Love on the front lawn of Sheridan Memorial Hospital, are now available for purchase. Sponsored by the Hospital Auxiliary, the trees provide residents the opportunity to dedicate a light in honor or memory of a friend or family member.

Sheridan mental health professional Lynn Gordon discussed techniques to overcome the trauma that can surface during the holiday season during a brown bag lunch seminar Wednesday at Sheridan College's facilities on Main Street.
Habitat For Humanity has had a presence in Buffalo for quite a few years, but has always been a subsidiary office for somewhere else.
That has all changed recently as Buffalo's Habitat for Humanity organization has become independent.
