The annual garage sale, put on by Buffalo's Habitat For Humanity chapter, was again a success, but even more so than expected.

The “earlybird” shopping on Thursday night drew a record number of 86 shoppers, that gave a small donation to attend the sale early to get first choice of the treasures.

Saturday marked the first day of the Buffalo Youth Baseball Season and the first time the teams will be playing at the new Buffalo Sports Fields Complex--a project that has been in the works through the City of Buffalo, as well as the Johnson County Commissioners and Recreation District for the past several years.
