A popular mountain access road will be closed mid-month, comments are due by the end of the month on a proposed street closure and there's an opening on the county fair board. The announcements were made this week during the regular meeting of the Sheridan County Commission.

Annual Lighted Parade, Chili Feed Coming Saturday To Buffalo

Santa waves to the crowd at last year's Lighted Christmas Parade in Buffalo.

Coming up this Saturday are a number of Buffalo's favorite events, all centered around the Christmas Holiday Season.

The culminating events are the Chili Feed and the Lighted Parade, but much more will be happening all over town all day long.

Ruby Appointed Johnson County Special Prosecutor

Johnson County Attorney Kenneth DeCock put in a request to the county commissioners to appoint Attorney Tucker Ruby as a Special Prosecutor for Johnson County.

Buffalo Police Report Given To City Council

Buffalo Police Chief Jason Carder gave his report to the city council, saying there were 1,057 incidents in the city in November and 3,292 total phone calls handled by dispatch during the month.
