An open house for the newly finished Meadowlark Elementary School in Sheridan was held Thursday evening. Principal Jason Hillman says that the new facility is top notch, but best of all it's good to be back on familiar ground.

Court Upholds Sheridan Murder Conviction

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - The Wyoming Supreme Court has upheld a Sheridan man's first-degree murder conviction in the January 2010 stabbing death of another man. The court on Thursday rejected an appeal from 31-year-old Shawn Osborne, now serving a sentence of life without parole.

Buffalo City Council Approves Contract For Police Cameras

The Buffalo City Council, at their last meeting, approved a contract to provide video cameras for city police vehicles.
