The Dayton town council killed the proposed Ordinance #381 on second reading Monday night, stating the re-working of codes concerning citizens' usage of raw water will be considered again after the winter.
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is announcing turkey season openings for this fall in Northeast Wyoming.
Hunt Area 3 which includes Sheridan, Johnson, and Campbell Counties opened October 1st and will remain open through December 31st.
At their last meeting, the Buffalo City Council heard an update from City/County Engineer Wayne Hill on the school crossing beacons to be installed on South Main Street.
He said the foundations for the beacons were scheduled to be installed last week.

Last month Sheridan Media reported that the Sheridan-Johnson Community foundation had awarded $20,000 in grant money to three different non-profits in Sheridan and Johnson County.
