Fire NE of Buffalo out, under investigation

A fire northeast of Buffalo is finally out, but not alot of information is known at this time.

According to the Johnson County Law Enforcement Center, a call came in concerning a grass fire at about 2:15 Saturday afternoon.

Members from the Sheridan Recreation District along with City officials held a ribbon cutting ceremony on the new playground equipment at Thorne-Rider Park Thursday.

The City of Sheridan and the Sheridan Recreation District held a ribbon cutting Thursday for the new playground equipment and basketball court in Thorne-Rider Park. Both the playground and basketball court were paid for with optional one cent funds.
