The Wyoming Secretary of State's Office issued a reminder to all candidates Thursday, that they must file their campaign finance receipt reports by Tuesday, August 12, seven days before the upcoming primary election.

Registration Still Open for Klondike Rush

The Johnson County Family YMCA's 36th Annual Klondike Rush starts Saturday in Buffalo, and Wellness and Program Director Tim Cahal said though over 100 people have already registered, he expects that number to swell by the time the race begins.

Johnson County Fair Weekend Previewed

Friday is Youth Rodeo Day at the Johnson County Fair. The day starts at 9am in the arena. Coming up at 10 is the Pie Contest in the Hospitality Tent. A stick horse race is set for 3 in the afternoon, followed by the FFA Round Robin event at 4 and YES Awards and Bar Branding at 4:30.

Briefs From Johnson County Commissioners

The last Johnson County Commissioner's meeting was a short one, lasting roughly 45 minutes.

The commissioners got a tax corrections report from Assessor Cindy Rogers and they approved the changes.

Johnson County Fair Results: Horse Awards

Results from the Horse Show at the Johnson County Fair, held Monday, have been released.

The Champion Senior Showman was Kelsi Klaahsen, FFA Champion Showman was Alanna Starkovich, Erika Little was the Champion for Junior Group A, Group B Champion was Lily Crago, Group C Champion was Mattie Bloomgren.
