Winds Estimated at 70 Mph Blow Through Sheridan County

This trampoline didn't fare so well during Monday night's storm.

The severe thunderstorm that moved into Sheridan County just after 6 o'clock Monday night packed quite a punch. Meterologist with the National Weather Service in Billings Matt Solum explains that the winds that accompanied the brief storm were quite fierce.

Districts 1, 2 Pleased with PAWS Results

Statewide PAWS results were released last week, and Sheridan County districts 1 and 2 both saw averages in math, reading, and writing above state levels.

Waiting on the Transcript

Sheridan resident Shawn Osborne was convicted of 1st Degree Murder in November last year.

Both attorneys in the Shawn Osborne case continue to to wait for the transcript of last month's motion hearing on a new trial. Osborne was convicted of the 1st Degree Murder of Gerald Bloom by a jury of his peers last November.
