It was a “Whacky Science” Saturday at Sheridan College, a time for kids of all ages to be exposed to and get excited about science. Rob Milne, a chemistry instructor at Sheridan College says there was plenty of activities to participate in.

Saturday, in the Exhibit Hall of the fairgrounds, Sheridan County 4-H held it's major fundraiser of the year, the annual 4-H Carnival and Chili Feed.

Income Tax Help is Available

For those lower income members of our community needing tax help, VITA, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance is available at Sheridan College. Students who are certified through the IRS work as volunteers preparing the tax returns.

Annual Johnson County Library Quilt Display Begins Monday

The annual Quilt Display at the Johnson County Library begins Monday and will be up and available to enjoy through the end of March.

The annual event is co-sponsored by the Buffalo Quilting Gals and the library and is open to the public.
