Stamp Out Hunger This Saturday

The nation's largest one day food drive is set for this Saturday as the National Association of Letter Carriers annual food drive aims to “stamp out hunger”. Residents are asked to fill a plastic bag with non-perishable food items and set it by their mailbox on Saturday, May 11th for collection.

Over 310 Students to Graduate From SC Saturday

The 64th annual Commencement Ceremony at Sheridan College will take place this Saturday at 1 o'clock a the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome. In a media release from the College, it states that over 310 students will complete their degree requirements at Sheridan College this year.

April Snow Improves Wyoming Mountain Snowpack

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming's mountain snowpack has improved greatly over the last month thanks to a succession of snowstorms over the last four weeks. But National Weather Service hydrologist Jim Fahey says runoff is still expected to be below normal in many areas this spring and summer.
