Winter weather has arrived in Northeast Wyoming, as evidenced by the handful of semi-truck accidents just on Interstate 90 between Sheridan and Buffalo Tuesday night. Power Outage Affected Some Sheridan Neighborhoods Wednesday

A representative with Montana Dakota Utilities says at approximately 3:20 p.m. Wednesday, the power went out on the 1900 block of Big Horn Avenue and in some other areas in Sheridan. Technicians with MDU were dispatched and eventually restored power a few hours later.

The Wyoming Department of Transportation closed the eastbound lanes of Interstate 90 towards Buffalo at around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday after a truck with a different kind of load caught fire near milepost 38.

Sheridan County School District One schools will be starting late Wednesday morning. Superintendent Marty Kobza tells Sheridan Media there will be a two-hour delay for bus pick-up in the morning, as well as a two-hour delay for classes to begin.
