BLM Issues New Policy regarding Conditions on Wild Horse and Burro Sales

The Bureau of Land Management announced a new policy Friday, in the form of what’s known as an interim Instruction Memorandum , regarding new conditions and restrictions on wild horse and burro sales.

JCHC Financials Ahead Of Projections So Far in FY 2013

During their last meeting the Johnson County Healthcare Center's Board of Trustees were presented with the financial report for December of 2012.

According to Hospital Administrator Sandy ward, the facility is ahead of projections for FY 2013, starting out in reasonably good shape from November to December, up $41,000 in gross patient revenue.

First Baby of 2013 Born in Sheridan on Thursday

The first baby of the new year was born on Thursday at Sheridan Memorial Hospital. Kellan William Erickson was born to Rita and Nick Erickson of Sheridan at 2:55 pm.

Little Kellan weighed 6 lbs., 12 oz. and is 18 inches long.

Operation Smile is Underway

Operation Smile kicked off Friday at the RENEW Service Center in Sheridan with RENEW participants providing Sheridan Police Officers with stuffed toys that will be distributed to traumatized children. Sheridan Police Chief Richard Adriaens explains.

Buffalo Council Discusses Sewer Rate, Increase Coming

Buffalo's City Council discussed the proposed sewer rate increase at the first regular meeting of 2013 Wednesday night, but did not implement a rate increase just yet. The rate increase, the council decided, will move forward but will need to be presented as an Ordinance and have three readings before it can be implemented.
